We are the coordinating body of all registered youth organizations, associations and clubs in the country, its main responsibility is to advocate on behalf of the youths

We are a quasi-government institution which was established by an Act of Parliament –The Zimbabwe Youth Council Act Chapter 25:19 as amended in 1997Acts 10/1983, 15.1991, Amendment Act No 16 of 1997.
The overall administration of the act rests with the Ministry responsible for youth.
